Monitored Exchanges
A monitored exchange, otherwise known as “exchange-only,” involves the transfer of the child(ren) from the custodial parent to the non-custodial parent in the presence of a neutral Monitor at a safe location. The remainder of the child(ren)/non-custodial parent visit is unsupervised.
California Supervised Visitation can facilitate the initial exchange as well as the return exchange back to the custodial parent. Care is taken that the custodial parent and the non-custodial parent do not have any contact with one another.
Off-Site Monitoring
A Professional Child Visitation Monitor assists the courts with supervised visitation orders. California Supervised Visitation will work to ensure the safety of the custodial parent, the non-custodial parent and the child(ren) in a stable and secure environment.
Visits may take place in any location that is agreed upon by all parties subject to any restrictions of the court order. Suggested locations might include parks, zoos, sporting events, museums, restaurants, etc.
